WSOP final table delayed 4 months

In my opinion this is one of the stupidest ideas in poker. The idea is to delay the playing of the final table in the WSOP 4 months. Why??? The answer is $$$ they want to be able to drag out the biggest poker tournament in the world another 4 months so they can promote it. It is just stupid. This is like delyaing the Super Bowl 4 months
